Matthew Grech is at it again, asserting that we Maltese, who advocate for the inclusion of all sexualities in our community, are misguided. He claims that by doing so, we are exploiting the vulnerable among us to diminish the stigma surrounding homosexuality.
In his own words Mr. Grech added that this is instilling gender confusion. He also questioned (wanting an answer) several themes such as how come we as a nation are having more gender identities (I’m sure we are not inventing them, kudos to that). The post continues with indirect accusations to the supposed groups that are trying to force Christians to deny their faith. (Just because they become acceptant of other sexualities doesn’t mean we are hindering them from practicing their religious rights).
Just because we tell our youngsters to accept everyone from a young age, doesn’t mean we are confusing their sexuality. Just because we applaud the 11-year old drag queen doesn’t mean anything other than the public’s recognition of his talent.
I find it funny how he closed the statement “OPEN YOUR HEARTS TO THE TRUTH AND TURN TO CHRIST” How are these statements just made going to open the hearts of the Maltese to the truth, above all to Christ? When the said propaganda is one that invites for the Maltese community to not become acceptant of the ‘homosexual practices’.
Included in this post one can clearly see photos from the Malta Gay pride March. Why would someone use such photos to mock a celebration of freedom. A celebration where diversity is embraced with an open heart?
Last but not least I’m super sure that whoever wants to leave the LGBT community is more than welcome. The difference is that they are not trying to convince others to do the same, they are not using the religious message as an excuse to get something out of it. They are not using social media to feed the Maltese poisonous agenda.
With an open heart the majority of the Maltese have become acceptant of what makes these persons, because their sexuality and gender identity doesn’t hinder in our eyes, the respect they deserve. THE LOVE THEY DESERVE, and also THEIR INCLUSION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
